I am a doctoral candidate in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh. My primary research interests are history and philosophy of biology and general philosophy of science. My philosophical work explores novel epistemological and methodological questions that arise in molecular life sciences, such as biophysics, biochemistry, and structural and molecular biology.
Prior to joining Pitt HPS, I obtained an M.Sc. in philosophy of science at the London School of Economics (LSE). I also have an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Memphis, M.S. and B.S. degrees in biochemistry and structural biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and the University of Richmond, as well as a B.A. in gender studies from the University of Richmond. |
